Got to work on two R1's for teamer Ron Keindl in 5'10" and 6'0". He added a single color, Day-Glo yellow and a little afterburner channel out the back. Ron rides mostly FCS and prefers Tri-fin configuration. They're made out of EPS foam with wood stringer and wrapped in clear epoxy resin. I'm really getting more experience working on channels and I'm looking to try a 4 channel next on some retro and fishes. Once you learn to do channels you don't go back to not doing them. Just keep in mind it's more work all the way around for the glasser and sander, thus an added cost to your stick ranging from $25-50-75-100 depending on how many and how much area.
