The Soul Saver design has been my go to long board design for several years. I've gone through the different tail phases, like baby squash, square tail, moon tail, round thumb, and now I'm back to round squash in 2026. This year's design has a touch of PRO feel to it with some refinements close to what the pros ride. It's a simple design with a moderate concave nose blending into a slightly rolled belly to a rolled Vee tail out the back. The tail is thin with a moderate tail kick. Good for all wave conditions from knee high summer surf to overhead waves.
