The R1 was a concept model made for Russell in Haiti. This design has withstood the test of time and it's still a favorite. A great model for someone needing a touch more volume than your pro-shortboard and a round-tail. It also features a bump at the hip for added release. Teamer Ron Keindl has one and he enjoys it when the waves call for it. Otherwise he's on his Hogfish most of the time.
